OxyGo acquires LIFE Corporation

The purchase of the company, which specializes in emergency oxygen, marks a ‘logical next step’ in expanding OxyGo’s expertise

Portable oxygen concentrator maker OxyGo LLC has acquired LIFE Corporation, a manufacturer that specializes in portable emergency oxygen and CPR administration equipment.

Founded in 1985, LIFE specializes in automated external defibrillator (AED) companions to provide supplemental oxygen to a breathing victim before the onset of fibrillation, oxygen-enriched CPR to a non-breathing victim, or continued supplemental oxygen after successful defibrillation.

LIFE also provides a complete line of medical oxygen regulators and cylinders for LIFE products and separately for EMTs, hospitals, and the homecare market.

A statement from the company said that by purchasing LIFE Corporation, OxyGo can expand its oxygen expertise.

“Acquiring LIFE Corporation is an exciting and logical next step in offering proactive gas solutions to the medical and industrial markets, and continues our mission to help our customers and communities grow,” OxyGo CEO V.E. Marquard-Schultz Esq. said.
