WellSky Adds Chief Growth Officer

Dale Zurbay joins to help the post-acute software company continue its strategic growth as the company also announces plans to expand its headquarters.

Post-acute software company WellSky has hired a new chief growth officer and is expanding its Kansas City headquarters.

Dale Zurbay will apply more than 25 years of sales, business development, and executive leadership experience in the healthcare technology space to his new role as WellSky’s chief growth officer.

Most recently, Zurbay served as senior vice president of sales, healthcare at Nuance Communications, a “conversational AI” technology company that provides software solutions and services to healthcare and enterprise markets. Prior to Nuance Communications, Zurbay held strategic roles at Optum and BEA Systems.

“Dale is an exceptional leader with a demonstrated track record of achievement across diversified healthcare markets,” WellSky president and CEO Bill Miller said. “This addition to our team, paired with our upcoming world headquarters expansion, is validation of the tremendous work our teammates do every day and the increasing demand for our cutting-edge solutions. In other news, WellSky is expanding its world headquarters in Overland Park, Kansas. Currently located at the 120,000-square-foot Corporate Centre III building in the CityPlace development, the company will lease four floors of the adjacent Corporate Center IV building. Groundbreaking on the new 188,960-square-foot building is planned for this summer, and construction is scheduled to be completed in fall 2023.
