Pride Re-brands Ramps, Lifts

Mobility maker says bringing Silver Star under the Pride label was ‘next natural progression.’

Pride Mobility Products Corporation has re-branded its lifts and ramps, previously labeled Silver Star Lifts and Ramps, as Pride Lifts and Ramps.

The Silver Star brand came to Pride in 2005, when the mobility manufacturer acquired the line to help providers complete their range mobility offerings. The range of lifts and ramps includes the Outlander Exterior Lift, Backpacker AVP and new modular rubber threshold ramps.

“Bringing vehicle lifts and ramps under that umbrella was the next natural progression in the brand’s advancement,” said Kirsten DeLay, executive vice president of Sales Management and Operational Planning. “We have every determination of being a mainstay in the lift business and are excited to continue developing innovative transport solutions. We look forward to expanding our work with great organizations like NMEDA and further helping our providers with their retail needs to meet the demands and requirements of consumers.”

Through such resources as the Professional Education Partnership, providers can obtain training and certification and stay current on Pride Lifts and Ramps. This is done via in-field presentations using a specially equipped vehicle for true hands-on training. The Pride Lifts and Ramps van lets product application specialists in attendance properly demonstrate a product’s offerings and installation process, further aiding in the educational needs and service capabilities of providers.
