Sept. 8 marked the Alabama DME association’s first in-person meeting in more than a year, which included a mix of on-site and Zoom-enabled educational sessions.
Emphasizing attendee safety, VGM assembled nearly 1,000 providers and HME industry professionals for three days of education and events in Waterloo, Iowa this week.
Next week marks the 20th anniversary of the VGM event, which features an in-person format with mask and social distancing guidelines, as well as virtual educational sessions.
The event offers multiple days of online education sessions from the Northeast association. NEMEP is targeting 2022 for its return to in-person events.
The National CRT provider has Acquired Austin Wheelchair Company, which has grown from a custom wheelchair company to a multi-line HME provider.
Scheduled for a Sept. 7 opening, the facility will ultimately employ 40 people serving customers in the heavily populated northeastern U.S. corridor.
