BOC congratulated Judi Knott, MA, MBA, CAE, in a March 24 announcement.

BOC added that the CAE designation requires the applicant to “have experience with non-profit organization management, complete a minimum of 100 hours of specialized professional development, pass a stringent examination in association management, and pledge to uphold a code of ethics. To maintain the certification, individuals must undertake ongoing professional development and activities in association and non-profit management.”

Knott said in the announcement, “As I embrace my new role as CEO, I think it is important to hold myself accountable to growth and learning. The CAE credential indicates that I am committed as an association leader and have demonstrated the wide range of knowledge essential to managing in today’s challenging environment. Just as BOC provides valued credentials for our customers to advance their careers and professional credibility, I appreciate the advantage the CAE credential brings to my management skills and leadership.”

Knott became BOC’s President/CEO on Jan. 1, after being selected by BOC’s board of directors. She joined BOC as Chief Strategy & Marketing Officer in 2017.
