Program offers DMEPOS certification for non-Medicare providers

The Compliance Team’s newest certification program is set up as a quality assurance program for online DMEPOS suppliers who are not billing Medicare. This new certification helps standardize quality processes at the DMEPOS organization and ensures safety for their patients. Certification acts as quality validation to the company’s online and mail order customers that the supplier has been certified by an independent, third party. DMEPOS certification differs from DMEPOS accreditation in that certification covers only those aspects of the business that are directly related to intake and delivery. Cerification is for two years.

BiWaze Cough is the respiratory therapy system that combines multiple therapies of assisted cough and lung expansion along with high-frequency oscillation. BiWaze Cough breaks up and then removes mucus from the lungs by applying positive air pressure (inhale) to the airway and then rapidly shifting to negative air pressure (exhale).
