OPGA Announces O&P Woman of the Year Finalists

The Orthotic and Prosthetic Group of America (OPGA) has chosen its four finalists for the 2023 O&P Woman of the Year Award.

In an Aug. 17 announcement, OPGA named the finalists: Charu Bhanti, co-founder of CPO Services Inc.; Marita Dorsh-Carozza, Senior Surveyor at the American Board for Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics & Pedorthics Inc.; Teri Kuffel, Vice President and founding co-owner of Arise Orthotics & Prosthetics Inc. and President of the American Orthotic & Prosthetic Association (AOPA); and Nikki Grace-Strader, Director of North American Operations with Osseointegration International Inc.

The award program, which is sponsored by Össur and administered by the OPGA, is open to women who work in the orthotics and prosthetics industry. The judging committee considers nominations based on the nominees’ career-wide contributions to the field. The 2023 winner will be announced at the AOPA National Assembly, at 9:45 a.m. Eastern on Sept. 7, in the OPGA’s booth (#405).

Adam Miller, President of OPGA, said, “We’re excited to recognize these outstanding women who positively impact the O&P profession. Each of the finalists exemplify everything that is exceptional about the O&P community, and we look forward to recognizing the winner.”
