NCART Hires Membership Coordinator

The National Coalition for Assistive & Rehab Technology (NCART) has hired Tim Hoffman to be its Membership Coordinator. Hoffman most recently was the Vice President of Vendor Contracting & Strategic Accounts at VGM & Associates.

NCART Executive Director Wayne Grau said in a July 27 announcement, “NCART is excited to be working with a well-established industry veteran like Tim. Tim has long-standing relationships with CRT manufacturers and suppliers. This addition will allow NCART to continue to expand our advocacy reach for the Complex Rehab Industry.”

Advanced Diabetes Supply Introduces New CEO

Bill Mixon, the former CEO of National Seating & Mobility, an American and Canadian Complex Rehab Technology provider, has been named the CEO of Advanced Diabetes Supply (ADS), headquartered in Carlsbad, Calif.

A July 10 press release said Mixon has succeeded ADS co-founders and co-CEOs Mark Howard and Tim Cady, who now hold advisory roles on the ADS board of directors.

ADS was described in the announcement as “a leading national distributor of specialty diabetes supplies.” In 2021, ADS acquired United States Medical Supply.
