Each spring, product manufacturers, distributors and service providers start releasing their latest offerings to the HME industry. Likewise, each spring HME Business strives to compile and cover as many of these new offerings and upgrades as we can muster.

As part of that effort, we’re continuing with a new print and online editorial service we launched last fall: Product Launch. Here, in the magazine, we’re rounding up as many products as we can wrangle.

Then, online, we’re publishing two special Product Launch Showcase editions of our e-Source enewsletter on April 6 and April 20. Plus, we’re hosting a special Product Launch edition of our DemoCast series on April 7. You can sign up for that FREE online event at hme-business.com/webinars. The DemoCast lets you watch online video demos and listen in as we ask vendors Q&A questions. Lastly, make sure to follow us on LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter so that you can stay on top of the Product Launch social media buzz.

But let’s get back to the print coverage. The industry’s vendors have contributed a nice supply of new offerings to check out, so let’s take a look:

Learning management system helps providers maintain staff education

HealthTrainUGiven that the OIG has referred to, a proper compliance department is not complete without “conducting effective training and education.” Some providers might be wondering where their company is at regarding educating their staff compliance? While the pandemic might have thrown a wrench into their policies and procedures, it still is a mandate to provide education necessary to stay compliant with the OIG directive. Learning management systems were virtual long before that term became commonplace. For your HME staff’s required continuing education and training needs, HealthTrainU offers a learning management system to satisfy those unique demands.
