It’s time once again for us to launch into a New Year with the HME Business Big 10. This year marks the fifth annual edition of our Big 10, and as always we have collected key technology developments, product and patient segments, and regulatory and funding challenges that will impact HME providers during the next 12 months.
Providers had a challenging year in 2011, and 2012 looks to be even more challenging. However, while 2012 will have its hurdles, it will also have its opportunities. This is reflected in our topics for this installment of the Big 10. Let’s review them:
Naturally, these aren’t the only important trends and opportunities that will influence providers’ businesses during the course of 2012, but we think it’s a safe bet that these will truly shape the industry over the course of the next 12 months.
