Medtrade: Come for the Products, Stay for the CEUs

Products — the lifeblood of the home health industry — draw providers and clinicians from across the country to the annual Medtrade show. This year is no exception. Manufacturers are rolling out their best and brightest at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta Sept. 19-21.

Make plans to visit the exhibit hall on the following hours each day to get a glimpse of what's in store for the upcoming year. And don't miss the New Product Pavilion, where manufacturers showcase their latest creations.

  • Tuesday, Sept. 19 — 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
  • Wednesday, Sept. 20 — 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
  • Thursday, Sept. 21 — 10 a.m.-3 p.m.

But don't just stay for the products. Attendees can fill their baskets and minds thanks to a comprehensive conference schedule. More than 180 educational sessions in the areas of accreditation, business operations, home health, information technology, leadership & staff development, legislative & regulatory issues, mergers & acquisitions, oxygen & respiratory issues, rehabilitation & assistive technology, reimbursement, sales & marketing, sleep-disordered breathing and updates will be offered. Check out www.medtrade.com for a complete schedule.

As in years past, the Continuum of Care offers focused education in the areas of rehab/assistive technology, sleep-disordered breathing, oxygen/respiratory and prosthetics/orthotics. The one-day workshop is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Sept. 18.

Or learn how to get the most for your dollar at the reimbursement conference — Reimbursement + Requirements = Revenue! Are You Maximizing Your Efforts? — set for 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Sept. 18.

Also, Medtrade has teamed with the National Registry of Rehabilitation Suppliers (NRRTS) to manage the rehabilitation education track during the show.
