Home Care By Moen Receives 2006 MVP Award
Home Care By Moen recently received the 2006 MVP award from Building Products Magazine for its line of SecureMount grab bars.
One of more than 20 new products to receive the prestigious award, the grab bars were selected because of an innovative patented flange design that features six openings including three elongated slots. This new design saves contractors labor, time and money when installing grab bars, one of the key factors considered in the selection process.
"Since falls remain the number one cause of injury in the home, we are honored to receive the 2006 Building Products MVP award for providing innovation in the grab bar category with our SecureMount grab bars," said Gary Pember, vice president, marketing and wholesale sales, Creative Specialties International, in a news release. "Not only are these grab bars easy to install securely into a stud, the designs are stylish, not institutional — a definite and necessary improvement in anyone's home."
According to Jennifer Goodman, managing editor, Building Products Magazine, "We are continuously searching for products that present solutions to everyday problems. Our goal is to provide our readership, which is primarily contractors, with information on products like the SecureMount grab bars, that they can take the lead on introducing to their customers."
