RedSail Launches New Pharmacy Software at Customer Site

RedSail Technologies has rolled out its Axys by Integra long-term pharmacy system, starting with an installation at Guardian Pharmacy in Indianapolis.

Post-acute software company RedSail Technologies has not only launched Axys by Integra, a cloud-based pharmacy management system for long-term care but has partnered with Guardian Pharmacy of Indianapolis with an implementation that went live the first week of September.

RedSail offers a variety of software services for companies in long-term care, outpatient, HME/DME and specialty pharmacies. Its brands include PioneerRx, Integra, PowerLine, TransactRx and QS/1. With Axys, RedSail’s Integra aimed to give LTC pharmacies a cutting-edge pharmacy management system that helps them expand their business while remaining patient-centered.

“Axys is an entirely new long-term care pharmacy platform,” said Bob Bates, president of Integra, one of RedSail’s software brands. “We have been on a two-year journey to build Axys from the ground up, specifically for this industry. We listened to what these pharmacies need and understand the direction in which industry technology is headed.”

“We are constantly evaluating and developing innovative technologies to help our local pharmacies increase efficiency while maintaining stringent safety protocols to better serve our customers,” said David Martin, vice president of Technology and Senior Security Officer for Guardian Pharmacy Services. “We believe the Axys system will streamline our effort. And, because it is fully cloud and browser-based, it will simplify the technology infrastructure needs within each individual pharmacy.”

The system also helps Guardian Pharmacy onboard new technicians in a quick, efficient manner, said Bryce McCoy, data entry supervisor for Guardian.

“This system has been designed with the user in mind — it’s fast, intuitive and easy to use, enhancing our productivity, which in turn allows us to focus our energy on resident care and customer service,” he said.

RedSail noted in a public statement that it will continue rolling out Axys to selected sites over the coming months.
