FACHS Postpones Legislative Conference

The Florida association has moved the event to Feb. 16-17 and added a reception with dinner and drinks to the first day.

Citing concerns over recent Covid-19 spikes, the Florida Alliance of Home Care Services (FAHCS) has rescheduled its legislative conference in Tallahassee to Feb. 16-17. 

“In an effort to keep everyone safe from the recent serious virus surge, and to give as much notice as possible (to prevent last-minute cancelation), we are proactively rescheduling the conference,” a statement from the association read.

While the show has moved, FAHCS has added a Legislative Reception at its lobbyist’s office on Feb. 16 at 6:30 p.m. that will include drinks and dinner.

The basic schedule for the event:

  • Membership sessions and legislative preparation on the morning of Feb. 16.
  • Legislative meetings on the afternoon of Feb. 16 and most of the day on Feb. 17.

Hotel reservations that have already been made hotel will be automatically shifted to the new dates. Registrants that want to confirm the date moves can call SpringHill Suites Tallahassee Central at (850) 325-1103.

Attendees can review or change their registration at any time by logging into their account and selecting the Events Registration tab at the top of their Member Profile.
