Mellott and Pontzius Join AAHomecare Board
Brightree President and CEO and 3B Medical Products President bring more than 30 years’ healthcare experience combined to the national industry association.
Two experienced HME industry leaders have joined the American Association for Homecare Board of Directors: Matt Mellott, President and CEO of Brightree, and Tom Pontzius, President, 3B Medical Products.
Mellott brings more than 30 years of healthcare industry experience to AAHomecare’s Board. Before becoming Brightree’s leader, Mellott was president of MedBridge Healthcare, a sleep disorder diagnostic testing and respiratory therapy provider he co-founded in 2004. He has also previously been a member of the Board of the National Sleep Foundation.
Pontzius, who recently became 3B Medical Products’ president, also has more than 30 years of experience in healthcare. Before 3B Medical, Pontzius was the leader of Industry Advocacy and Business Development for Philips and had served in other leadership roles since 2008. Previous to that, Pontzius was division president with The VGM Group’s Nationwide Respiratory subsidiary. He was also a member of AAHomecare’s Board before leaving Philips.
