PAMES Meets with Staff of House HME Champion
Representatives of the Oregon and Washington association, along with VGM Government Relations, met with staff for Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers (R-Ore.).
Members of the Pacific Association for Medical Equipment Services (PAMES), which represents providers in Washington and Oregon, as well as VGM Government Relations, met with staff for Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers (R-Wash.) to discuss industry concerns.
The delegation included John Gallagher, vice president of VGM Government Relations; PAMES President Paul Sabin, sales manager for the Medical Division of Norco Inc.; Mike Calcaterra, Medical Quality and Risk Manager at Norco; Don Whitney, COO of Inland Medical and Rehab; and Melissa Roberts, Vice President of Payor Relations for Bellevue Healthcare.
The group voiced their concerns, with a key focus on increasing reimbursement for HME products and services.
As the ranking member for the Energy and Commerce Committee, Rep. McMorris-Rodgers has been an important legislative champion for HME stakeholders.
