AAHomecare Partners with PR Firm to Highlight HME’s Value

PR firm will work with association to generate news coverage and opinion articles conveying the industry’s value on a national and state level.

The American Association for Homecare has tapped public relations Keybridge Communications to launch a sustained media relations campaign to build awareness of the essential, high-value care that HME providers deliver.

Keybride will engage influential healthcare journalists for news coverage as well as develop and place opinion pieces and editorials to highlight the HME industry’s important role in the healthcare continuum, as well as make the case for HME policy priorities.

The campaign will focus on driving that coverage in national and other high-impact media outlets, as well as with publications that influence policy on Capitol Hill and in the Administration.

“Stepping up our strategic communications capacity is essential to our continued efforts to bring home more policy wins for HME suppliers and manufacturers,” AAHomecare President and CEO Tom Ryan said. “Keybridge Communications brings a strong level of experience in developing effective messages and demonstrated ability to drive media coverage that make them an ideal partner in this effort.”

AAHomecare will also work with Keybridge’s capabilities to drive support for major state-level legislative initiatives.

“HME’s important role to protecting patient health has never been more evident thanks to our industry’s contributions in fighting the COVID-19 pandemic,” Ryan explained. “This campaign will underscore those tremendous efforts and also make sure that the public and policymakers understand the critical need to support this industry to serve the ever-growing population of Americans who depend on the care we provide.”
