FAHCS, ATHOMES Nix Virtual Events, Focus on In-Person Shows

Florida, Tenn. associations cancel their March events; FAHCS gears up for live event in August; ATHOMES makes ready for Sept. in-person conference.

The Association for Tennessee Home Oxygen & Medical Equipment Services (ATHOMES) and the Florida Alliance of Home Care Services (FAHCS) have both canceled their March virtual events and have announced replacement in-person events later in the year.

ATHOMES has canceled its Virtual Conference, which was slated for March 17-19, to focus on an in-person conference it will host Sept. 23-24 in Nashville.

While the March event is canceled, ATHOMES will still offer its live Medicare session with its Ombudsman, Belinda Yandell, which is scheduled for March 17 at 3 p.m. Eastern. All ATHOMES members will receive a Zoom link to access the session.

Similarly, FAHCS will not host its March 15-16 virtual event and will concentrate on an in-person event it will host Aug. 5-6 in Orlando.

That said, FAHCS will also offer the 3 p.m. March 17 Medicare session with Yandell to its members, who will receive a Zoom link, as well.
