Numotion Picks up BritKare’s Rehab Division

The acquisition will expand Numotion’s presence in Texas with what is now its eighth branch in the Lone Star State.

National complex rehab technology (CRT) provider Numotion has acquired the CRT division of Amarillo, Texas-based BritKare.

BritKare has served mobility clients in the Amarillo and Lubbock area since 1995. Its CRT team, which includes four Assistive Technology Professionals (ATPs) and various support staff, will join Numotion.

The buy marks Numotion’s eighth branch in the Lone Star State, with other locations in Fort Worth, Waco, Austin, San Antonio, Dallas, and Athens.

“Numotion is proud to continue to grow our reach in Texas with this investment in BritKare,” Numotion CEO Mike Swinford said. “We are committed to continuing our expansion in all markets in an effort to better serve the disability community by providing greater access to innovative mobility and independence resources, products, services and solutions.”

In addition to expanding its Texas footprint, Numotion also recently acquired Northland Rehab Supply in Sioux Falls, S.D. and Monroe Wheelchair in Rochester, N.Y.
