Essentially Women Announces Virtual Dates for 2021 Focus Event

Attendees of the long-running women’s health-focused event will have access to a mix of live events and on-demand learning opportunities.

Women’s health member service organization Essentially Women will host the 2021 edition of its annual Focus event virtually, citing COVID-19 safety.

Attendees of Focus: The EW [Virtual] Conference will have access to a mix of live and on-demand events. The main event is slated for Jan. 25-28, 2021, with on-demand sessions running Jan. 29 – Feb. 28, 2021.

“We made the tough decision to go virtual this year,” said Nikki Jensen, vice president of Essentially Women. “We would much prefer to meet in-person, but due to COVID-19, we knew it would be in the best interest of all participants if this year’s conference was virtual.”

The educational sessions run across eight different tracks: post-mastectomy, leadership, compression, operations, sales and marketing, hair and wigs, and mother and baby. While the education schedule is not yet live, Jensen says EW plans to host a total of eight live sessions and more on-demand content. The result should be more educational content than Focus would typically offer in a live event.

The event will also offer a virtual exhibit to let attendees to browse new product lines, shop for new vendor partners, and virtually connect with vendors. Sample boxes will be sent to each attendee prior to Focus Conference, so that attendees can still touch and feel some product samples in the comfort of their home or office.

“We know it’s hard for our vendor partners to travel and see the membership. Our virtual exhibit hall will offer our members and vendors a way to connect,” Jensen said.

Registration for Focus: The EW [Virtual] Conference cost $75 per person through Oct. 31. For more information, vis
