Amoena Recognized with Product Design Award

The breast prostheses manufacturer’s newest breast form, Adapt Air, wins the 2020 Red Dot Award

The Adapt Air breast prostheses from post-mastectomy product maker Amoena has won the 2020 Red Dot Award for Product Design.

Attributing the win to the Adapt Air’s fit, comfort, and natural appearance, Amoena Managing Director Stephan Wölfer said the award was in line with end-user feedback.

“We are very proud to have set a further milestone in our company history with the Adapt Air series,” Wölfer said. “The consistently positive response from our customers clearly shows that we have met a need with this.”

Amoena added the Adapt Air to its premium product portfolio at the end of 2019. The Adapt Air’s integrated air chamber and a unique pump let the prosthesis better conform to the chest wall and user silhouette.
