COVID-19 Protocols, Practices Quickly Emerging in HME Industry

Across the country, providers of varying care categories and business models are developing best practices and common protocols for sales, patient visits, deliveries, telehealth, referrals relations and operations, according to survey interviews.

Standard protocols and best practices for dealing with COVID-19 are starting to emerge across the HME industry, according to in-depth interviews with a wide spectrum of providers.

Ty Bello, president of HME sales and management consulting firm Team @Work, interviewed 22 HME providers of varying care categories and business models to uncover common responses to COVID-19 being implemented across the industry.

Bello then joined the latest episode of the HMEB Podcast, which was sponsored by PlayMaker Health, to discuss his qualitative survey.
