ACMESA Winter Meeting Just Around the Corner

Various expert speakers from AAHomecare, VGM, Lieber Consulting slated for the February 5-6 in Durham, N.C.

While the Atlantic Coast Medical Equipment Services Association (ACMESA) annual Winter Meeting is just around the corner, registration remains open for any last-minuted attendees.

Slated for Feb. 5-6 at the Durham Convention Center and Marriot in Durham, N.C., the theme of this year’s Winter Meeting is “Roaring Back into the ’20s.”

The member meeting fee is $225 and $175 for each additional employee. Non members can attend for $375. Full registration details and registration form are available at atlanticcoastmesa.org/event-3509567.

While special room rates have expired, hotel rooms for the event may still be available at the Durham Marriott City Center.

Speaker Highlights

The day-and-a-half event will feature various speakers, including Miriam Lieber of Lieber Consulting, who will present two sessions on improving business quality outcomes and efficiencies: Value-Based Care and the HME Provider, and Management & Metrics for Internal and External Success.

Mark Higley and John Gallagher of VGM Government Relations will share information important to 2020.

David Chandler and Kim Brummett of The American Association for Homecare will cover state and federal payer relations and regulatory trends critical to the industry.

Covering the payer agenda are sessions from CGS, Medicaid (North Carolina, Virginia and West Virginia) and Blue Cross of North Carolina.
