WellSky Partners With Post-Acute Providers To Launch REACH Initiative

The new suite of services aims to improve collaboration between care providers, health systems and payers.

WellSkyHME software company WellSky is launching a new, comprehensive suite of analytics and payer solutions to help providers better collaborate with health payers and systems, the company announced Tuesday.

WellSky REACH, which stands for Risk-Enabled, Analytical and Coordinated Healthcare, aims to bring all stakeholders together to create care plans for patients using predictive analytics. To develop the initiative, WellSky has already partnered up with three post-acute providers to provide feedback and further advance REACH solutions.

The leaders of Healthy Living Network, Intrepid USA Healthcare and Concierge Home Care have signed on to develop the project, which will include predictive analytics services to improve clinical outcomes and address non-clinical barriers to health, according to the press release.

Bill Miller, the CEO of WellSky, said the REACH initiative was born out of an upcoming shift in how providers work with payers. That change is due to the growing number of post-acute patients enrolled in Medicare Advantage plans, he said.

“To succeed in this new paradigm, post-acute providers will need advanced capabilities that traditional technology vendors have not provided,” Miller said. “With WellSky REACH we’re changing that by partnering with some of the nation’s most innovative providers to develop solutions that allow providers to better manage care and successfully enter performance-based agreements.”

The new suite of solutions is made possible by WellSky I/O, the company’s recently launched interoperability framework that works across different enterprise services.
