Compliance Team CEO Receives Award at Event Honoring Women in Mass Retail Industry

Sandra Canally, who is celebrating The Compliance Team’s 25th year in business, will be honored at a celebration in Chicago.

Sandra Canally, founder and CEO of accreditation organization The Compliance Team, has received a Business Excellence award from Drug Store News as part of an event celebrating women in the mass retail industry.

Canally, who leads the country’s only certified woman-owned healthcare accreditation organization, is one of 142 women who will be honored by the publication at a gala in Chicago this week. The Top Women in Health, Wellness & Beauty event also recognizes women who have been named “Rising Stars” by their peers or who have demonstrated outstanding commitment to care and overall career achievement.

In a statement, Canally said she is honored to receive the award, particularly since it is her company’s 25th year in business.

“These awards represent much more than individual achievements,” Canally noted. “They represent the considerable power of women in business, the concept of seeing opportunity around every corner, the determination to say yes despite apparent hurdles. I am proud to be included in such a victorious group of women.”

Other winners include executives and employees from CVS Health, Procter & Gamble, Walgreens, Costco and more.
