CAIRE Becomes Latest Company to Join American Association for Homecare

The oxygen therapy manufacturer wants to expand its advocacy efforts on behalf of the HME industry.

Oxygen equipment manufacturer CAIRE Inc. is the latest HME company to become a member of the American Association for Homecare, the company announced this week.

Earl Lawson, the president and CEO of CAIRE, said the decision to join AAHomecare came out of the company’s desire to grow as a leader and advocate in the HME industry.

“Policymakers need to understand the critical issues facing our providers as they serve patients and strive to remain viable despite recent significant cuts in reimbursements,” Lawson said. “At CAIRE we are working every day to support these same providers with the oxygen therapy solutions they can rely on to deliver clinically effective care to their patients, and this step to support AAHomecare and its initiatives is just another way to show we care about our customers in advocating legislation that can positively impact their businesses.”

Tom Ryan, the president and CEO of AAHomecare, said that CAIRE has been a longtime friend to the HME community.

“They have demonstrated their desire to support the success of providers through their business programs, and today as they join the ranks of our corporate partner program,” Ryan said.
