HMEB New Product of the Year Awards Announced

Fourth year of products sees 11 winning products from various categories selected by a panel provider of provider judges.

HME Business has announced the winners of the 2017 edition of its annual New Product Awards competition.

The HME Business New Product Award honors outstanding product development achievements by HME industry manufacturer and service providers. Eleven winning products were selected by a panel of judges from the HME provider community in the fourth year of this program.

Winners will receive awards and will be recognized at the 2017 Medtrade Fall Expo in Atlanta. They will also be featured in the December 2017 issue of HME Business magazine. 

“Once again, we had an extremely compelling array of products across a wide variety of categories,” said David Kopf, editor of HME Business magazine. “The competition was particularly hot in the software and in the sleep categories where the margin of victory was narrow and reflected the continued innovation in those categories. Also, I was also heartened by the turnout in mobility products. It goes to show that despite all the difficulties in funding for that category, that manufacturers keep stepping up to meet and exceed provider and patient demands.

“Also, as always, my thanks and appreciation go out to the judges,” Kopf added. “We had incredible support from the provider community.”
